THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS OF YOGA

This course is designed to enhance the Yoga Teacher or sincere practitioner's ability to adapt general principles of yoga to specific individual needs. Emphasis is placed on assessing needs and establishing goals as well as applied anatomy, principles of movement, yoga philosophy and ayurveda. While this program prepares those currently teaching yoga for their advanced level certification, it is also open to sincere practitioners.

Certification/Independent Track

Taken as a whole, these courses make up part of an intensive curriculum that meets Yoga Alliance standards for advanced yoga teacher training programs. However, sessions may be taken independently by teachers and qualified students and need not be taken for credit or with the intention to complete the program in it's entirety. This Level Two Teacher Training (500 hr) certificate program requires a serious commitment to the path of yoga as a life-style. Requirements are generally completed in 2-3 years.
