Joyce Anue MS, PT In her private practice, Joyce uses a unique blend of manual medicine and therapeutic exercise to help her clients and students experience optimum health and return to pain free, easeful movement. As a yoga therapist, Joyce uses an even broader range of tools to help the individual experience optimal health at all levels physical, mental and psychosocial. Joyce uses her gifts as a teacher and physical therapist who specializes in using movement, mindfulness and hands-on therapy to help her clients and students gain insight into themselves, their habits of posture and movement as well as life style choices and belief systems that effect health and well-being. Subconscious patterns of posture and movement that can strain the body and lead to pain of dysfunction are brought to attention and new choices are explored and implemented. Although her work is especially effective for joint pain (knee, hip and shoulder), whiplash, back & neck pain, tendonitis, and other musculoskeletal problems, through her multifaceted approach, Joyce addresses the needs of the whole person.
